Teams vs. Star Slinger - “Punch Drunk Love” (Mexican Summer, 2011)
Finally getting around to the collaborative EP form Manchester-based beatmaker Star Slinger and Knoxville’s Teams. It’s NICE. So far, “Punch Drunk Love” is the track that’s resonating the most. Maybe that’s because it harkens back to early-period, simpler, and much more tolerable Kanye. In fact, can’t you hear Cam/Dip Set spitting over this?
